Kolteo

Terms of service

Last updated October 16, 2026

These terms apply to the use of Kolteo, a service published by APARO. Creating an account means you accept them.

The service

Kolteo checks the availability of the web pages you add, analyses their SEO, accessibility and security, alerts the contacts you choose and produces status pages and reports. It is currently offered free of charge, within the limits shown in your account. Features and limits may change; we will tell you before anything you rely on is removed.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. The account is for professional use: you act as a business, freelancer or agency, not as a consumer.

What you can monitor

Only add sites you own or are allowed to monitor, such as your clients' sites. Do not use Kolteo to put load on a site, test its defences without permission, or for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

Your contacts and clients

You choose who receives alerts and reports, and you make sure they agree to receive them. Status pages are public to anyone who has their link, unless you make them private.

Availability and results

We do our best to keep Kolteo running and its measures accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every outage will be detected or every alert delivered on time, nor that following the recommendations will improve a site's ranking. Kolteo is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee of your sites' availability.

Liability

As the service is free, APARO is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost revenue or data, arising from its use, within the limits allowed by law.

Your data

Your data stays yours. How it is handled is described in the privacy policy. You can delete your domains at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.

Ending

You can stop using Kolteo at any time. We may close the service or an account with reasonable notice, except in case of abuse.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes are announced by email. These terms are governed by French law; disputes go to the courts of the publisher's registered office.
